The NG Start-up Scholarship supports young entrepreneurs, who have an initial business idea and are willing to or in the processing of preparing to launch their business. The aim of the scholarship is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and professional training required to establish and manage their own business.
This scholarship is the progression of the business@school program, where 2nd year high school students awaken their entrepreneurial spirits through the process of developing their own realistic business idea as part of a team, after a thorough analysis of the current international and local market.
Start-up Scholarship is given for one year, with the option of prolongment every year by request of the scholarship receiver. The prolongment of the scholarship can be done only when meeting the following requirements:
a. Maintain an academic grade point average at or above 8 (on a 10-point scale) and have no failing final grades in any module.
b. Register their start-up at the latest by the end of the second year of their studies at Nehemiah Gateway University.
Eligibility for NG Start-up Scholarship
Eligible to apply for this scholarship are individuals who have been officially admitted for their studies at NGU and have previously been part of the business@school program, where their team has attained one of the below mentioned places:
a. The first place at the regional finals
b. One of the first two places at the national finals
c. One of the first three places at the international finals
